Canon today announced the release of the 5D Mark III, the long awaited successor to the 5D Mark II that started the HDSLR revolution almost 4 years ago. The Mark III has a newly developed CMOS sensor and 61pt AF system along with a host of improvements borrowed from the flagship 1DX. Here is Canon’s official press release.
